A Construction Industry Licensing
Board meeting was held Friday, May 18th, 2007, whereby the board
members voted to approve an increase in the number of test questions
on the "Business and Finance" day of the State Contractors exam.
The current 40 questions in the morning will
increase to 60 and the 40 questions currently given in the afternoon
will also increase to 60.
THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL
TIME ALLOTTED TO TAKE THE TEST!!!!
This change will not take
place immediately and will not happen until some time next year
(2008). If you have been putting off taking the exam to become
a Florida licensed contractor, we recommend that you submit an
application soon while the test is more passable. The test
sites have been full and you may not be able to be tested until 3 to
4 months after submitting your application.
We discovered that the test
sites are full due to the number of failures retaking the test.
However, OUR students are passing at an unbelievable rate.
It is unfortunate that those
failing were not aware of our success rate in passing and therefore
chose other courses for their help.
Call 1-800-277-8877 and ask
for a counselor to provide information on our "NO FAIL" course.
Our over 35 years of helping contractors pass exams makes the difference.
